The RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan sent letters to the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli, PACE President Hendrik Daems and OSCE PA President George Tsereteli related to the provocative military actions undertaken in the direction of the northeastern border of the Republic of Armenia by Azerbaijan.

In his letters Ararat Mirzoyan has noted that these actions are considered to be the continuation of the inadmissible bellicose rhetoric by Azerbaijan and seriously violate the fundamental principles of the international law, as well as directly oppose the appeals for an immediate ceasefire in all corners of the world amid coronavirus made by the UN Secretary-General.

“The inadmissible actions of Azerbaijan’s armed forces get support by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, which creates additional tension and endangers the regional security and stability,” the NA President’s letters read.
